Krista and Whitney
Here at CLP we have lead photographers, Krista and Whitney, that photograph all portrait session types, events and weddings in addition to various 3rd and 4th shooters who accompany us at large weddings and/or events. Krista and Whitney make a fantastic team because in addition to working very well together, their photographic styles and perspectives are different so when you book a wedding with CLP, it's like booking two different photography styles at one affordable price.
Krista focuses a lot of her attention on emotion. She is passionate about capturing the mood of a moment in her photographs, which is why she loves wedding photography. Brides will find that her images are zoomed in farther to capture happy tears, laughter or the look of love... Even a simple hand graze can portray emotion and you better believe Krista will notice and capture it. At weddings, Krista typically stays with the bride as she tends to be more nurturing, calming and sensitive to the day. She has been known to calm butterflies for more than one bride and enjoys helping the bride in those final moments before the ceremony starts. Whitney is a very artistic photographer. Her images provide a perspective that many people never knew existed. Whitney has a knack for making a mediocre location or detail look elegant and beautiful. Her images definitely give clients that "wow factor" they are seeking. She spends most of her time at events capturing wide angle shots at creative perspectives. At most weddings, you will find Whitney with the groom and his men, wrangling flower girls or bustling a dress. She is often a "go-to" person when something unexpected goes wrong. Whitney's personality is very laid back, she is a sports fan and can comfortably blend in and "hang with the guys". Her relaxed and outgoing personality helps the groomsmen feel less uncomfortable about having their pictures taken.
